H.E. Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani
As Undersecretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), Al Hosani is an Emirati leader responsible for the delivery of the Department’s transformative mandate: To develop the emirate into a dynamic cultural capital and world-leading leisure and business destination, driving creative and commercial impact.
Bringing more than 20 years’ combined experience in strategic planning and financial management across multiple sectors, including tourism, culture, media, technology and finance, Al Hosani plays an instrumental role in shaping and driving DCT Abu Dhabi’s mission to promote, protect and progress the emirate.
Since his appointment as Undersecretary DCT Abu Dhabi, he has ensured the continued growth of the emirate’s culture and tourism sectors by spearheading numerous globally recognised innovations, as well as digital transformation initiatives that have enabled the organisation to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Prior to joining DCT Abu Dhabi, Al Hosani held several leadership positions in Abu Dhabi, including Chief Financial Officer at Advanced Integrated Systems and Head of Finance & Administration at the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
Al Hosani is also a member of numerous local and international committees such as the Wellbeing Committee of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the Finance and Development Committee at the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH), the Higher Committee of the Digital Government, and Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group.
Al Hosani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Abu Dhabi’s Higher Colleges of Technology.
