Main Steps of Obtaining the Service |
- Submit a tourism licence application with the required documents via the website of the Business Centre belonging to the Department of Economic Development
- The Business Centre employees review the received
- The DCT’s Licensing Operations Unit employees check the fulfillment of the requirements
- The DCT’s Inspection team conducts the inspection process
- Payment of the fees
- Issuance of the licence

Terms of Obtaining the Service |
- Achieving the minimum space required (35 square metres for all tourism offices except for the excursion boats, tourist restaurants and floating restaurants)
- Tour operation activities: 2 cars and 1 bus must be provided, provided that they have not been completed more than 5 years from the date of manufacture
- Desert adventure activities: 2 SUVs must be provided, provided that they have not been completed more than 5 years from the date of manufacture

Required documents and forms for obtaining the service |
- A scanned image of the landowner’s passport and family book (for UAE citizens) and ID card, and if the owner is an organisation or company, a scanned image of the commercial licence is required
- A tenancy contract for the outlet, certified by the ADM (minimum area: 35 square metres for all tourism offices except for the excursion boats, tourist restaurants and floating restaurants)
- The notarised signature of the signatory
- Signing the statement of undertaking prepared by the Authority for compliance with the terms and conditions
- A scanned image of the trade name reservation certificate for the establishment issued by the Department of Economic Development
- No objection certificate issued by The Centre of Waste Management - Abu Dhabi
- A scanned image of the Safety and Protection Measures Compliance Certificate from the General Directorate of Civil Defence
- A scanned image of the original valid licence (if the requested license is for a new branch or outlet of an existing company)
- A scanned image of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry membership document
